Coldtap Recordings was born out of Essex,England and fronted by Norman H & Adam Carter from Vinyl Rhythm Records shop in Southend-On-Sea. The label ran from late 2000 through til 2005.The labels vaults have been raided and there will be a Norman H compilation “Coldtap: The Selected Works” which is due for release in the Spring of this year. But for now we turn our attention to the duo Stripped Inc (aka Norman H & Gary Dubbs) who produced 6 tracks and remixes in total 5 of which are featured right here under the title “Retrospective EP”. The tracks were played and heavily supported by some of the biggest players around including John Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish (Dubfire & Sharam), Satoshi Tomiie, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Laurent Garnier, Anthony Pappa, Jimmy Van M, Moonface, Lee Burridge, Desyn Masiello, Luke Fair, James Zabiela (who featured “Chrome” – New Bass Edit) on his 2004 BBC Radio One Essential Mix).
