Lithuanian duo Phonic Scoupe (Justas Dziim & Tadas King) teamed up just 15 months ago and have already found favour with some of the scenes biggest players Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo included.
Amber Long & Robert Mason return to the Stripped family after their success with “Eggshells” on Stripped Recordings and Amber’s collab with Lithuania’s Kastis Torrau on the track “Menace”. This time the Canadian duo becomes a trio as they are joined by young Montreal based producer Decker// to present us with “Apologies”. The track comes complete with two mixes from the prolific Cid Inc. who himself needs no introduction as he comes to Stripped Digital fresh off the back of his heavily supported remix of Phonic Scoupe’s “Lust” on Stripped Recordings, his vocal and dub mixes complete a fine package which is Stripped Digital’s 170th release.
Friday November 14, 2014 saw Hernan Cattaneo land in Toronto to play for Ozmosis at Red Nightclub as part of the worldwide tour to promote his recently released Balance 026 compilation. One of the highlights of his set came when he dropped the brand new Cid Inc. Remix of “Apologies” by Canadian trio Amber Long, Robert Mason & Decker//. Luckily Amber & Robert (both from Toronto) where their and captured the moment on video.
The Lithuanian duo Phonic Scoupe return centre stage after the initial success of their debut album “Seven Sins: Deluxe Edition” and the single which preceded it “Lust” with a special Remix EP featuring a strong line up of artists some making their debuts for us here at Stripped and a couple of familiar names to those who follow the label(s). “Seven Sins: The Remixes EP” features reworks from DNYO, Cid Inc, Chris Fortier, Rich Curtis, Sonic Union and Ewan Rill. Phonic Scoupe are certainly ending their fledgling production career this year on an undoubted high.
Lithuanian trio Phonic Scoupe return to Stripped Recordings with their fourth release for the label after “Adventures”,”Love & Hate EP”, and “Sand”. This release entitled “Lust” is taken from the trio’s debut album “Seven Sins” which is due in October here on Stripped Recordings. Taking on remix duties here and making his long overdue debut for us is Finland’s prolific Cid Inc.
We welcome back John O’Connor & Mark Reitano. Here they deliver a three track debut EP entitled “Kaliedoscope” which has been supported by the likes of Maceo Plex, CID Inc, Guy Mantzur to name just three. This EP follows their debut with us earlier this year “Sunsets”. And John’s remixes for Ewan Rill and Seb Dhajje as well as his solo effort “Dreams Of A Solar Flare”. This is the 154th release on Stripped Digital.
From Australia comes producer GMJ and his track “Recoil”. The original was charted and played by Hernan Cattaneo throughout the summer. Now it finally sees the light of day with remixes from Dousk and Tvardovsky. This release is the 132nd on Stripped Recordings.
